Hope Hand Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 6, 2026
1. Who we are
Hope Hand is a personal-safety app and physical SOS button. Data operator and developer: C-MES Solutions Ltd (United Kingdom). Privacy contact: savostinmikhailkmv@gmail.com
2. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, phone number and email address, which you will provide at registration. Collection of this data has not started yet: it will begin in the near future, when registration launches. This policy is published in advance and applies from the moment collection starts.
- Trusted contacts that you add yourself.
- Location — only at the moment you send an SOS (see Section 3).
- The SOS messages you prepare in advance.
3. Location
Hope Hand does not track your location continuously and does not run background tracking. Your coordinates are sent only after you press SOS in the app or on the physical button, to your selected trusted contacts through the delivery services described in Sections 4 and 5.
4. How alerts are delivered
SOS alerts are currently delivered as push notifications over the internet to users who have the Hope Hand app installed and registered. Technically, delivery is performed by Apple’s (APNs) and Google’s (Firebase Cloud Messaging) notification services.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it for advertising or other unrelated purposes. At the moment of an SOS, your message and location go to the recipients you chose. The only technical exception is notification delivery: the text of your SOS message and your coordinates pass through the Apple and Google services named in Section 4, which deliver the push notifications to your recipients’ devices.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored on C-MES servers and protected with encryption. The alert-history feature is currently in development; the retention period for SOS history will be stated in this policy before the feature launches.
7. Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction, or full deletion together with your account — email savostinmikhailkmv@gmail.com.
8. Service status
Hope Hand is in active development. Some features described on the website are planned and will be introduced as they become ready; this notice will be updated when data processing changes.
9. Important
Hope Hand is not a substitute for emergency services. In immediate danger, call 911 / 112 or your local emergency number.
