Currently, emergency push notifications over the internet to registered app users are available. Other capabilities will be introduced as development and testing progress.

Receiving emergency push notifications is free. A test alert is available to check your settings. Viewing the sender’s route after an alert is planned, provided the sender has given permission in advance. The available history period will be determined before this feature launches.

Free features plus expanded personal safety tools: individual scenarios and recipients, prepared photos, documents and audio recordings, alert acknowledgment, backup notifications, an “I’m safe” status and a safety check-in timer.
Users will be able to create scenarios for different situations, such as a threat to their safety, detention or a need for assistance. Each scenario can have its own recipients and previously prepared photos, documents or audio recordings.
Encrypted attachment storage and access limited to designated recipients are planned. Decryption exclusively on the recipient’s device will only be announced after the relevant protection system has been implemented and verified.
A recipient will be able to confirm that they have accepted the alert and are ready to help. Other designated contacts will see that confirmation. If no one responds within the set time, the system will repeat the notification and forward the alert to backup recipients. An “I’m safe” status will let users report that the danger has passed. A safety check-in timer will send an alert if a user does not confirm their safety by the scheduled time.
The plan provides for updated location sharing during an alert, extended alert history, delivery status information where available and support for two compatible SOS buttons—for example, one worn on the person and one in a vehicle. Support for compatible smartwatches is planned for sending SOS alerts and confirming activation through sound or vibration.
Regular price: $30 per month.
Standard features for every member. Family members will be able to receive each other’s emergency alerts and share their locations with each member’s consent. When enabled, location history will be stored for up to 30 days.
Each member can have designated alert recipients and check-in statuses: “Arrived,” “I’m home,” “I’m safe” and “I need help.” If someone does not confirm their safety at the scheduled time, selected contacts will receive a notification. An acknowledgment will let other recipients see that someone has already responded to the alert.
Regular price: $5 per month.

The planned setup connects a compatible SOS button, smartwatch and smart glasses through a phone. Pressing the B10 button would prompt Hope Hand on the phone to send an SOS with location, deliver confirmation to the watch and start receiving video from compatible glasses. The phone would upload the recording to the server so trusted recipients can access it.
Technical feasibility, device compatibility and background operation limits require verification. Direct connections among all devices have not yet been confirmed.
Compatible SOS buttons are purchased separately. They can be worn on the wrist, neck, belt or keychain, or placed in a vehicle, beside a bed or at a workstation.
Basic connection instructions and a test alert guide are included. Step-by-step voice assistant help is planned. Multi-device bundles will be available for families and organizations. The final price depends on the model, package contents, quantity and shipping.
As technical implementation progresses, additional services will include SMS alerts, extra attachment storage, longer history retention, integrations with compatible services and devices, individual setup and staff training. SMS is charged separately, depending on the destination country and message volume. Storage, integration and support prices will be published after costs and service scope have been determined.
The current notification method requires an internet connection. Recipients must have Hope Hand installed and be registered. A Bluetooth button works through a connected phone within a stable Bluetooth connection range.
Location, route and personal information are shared with the user’s permission. Feature availability depends on the phone, operating system, granted permissions and device compatibility.
Hope Hand forwards requests for help to selected contacts. Automatic detection of falls or medical episodes, calls to emergency services, medical monitoring and dispatching assistance are not included in these plans. Designated recipients or the connected organization respond during agreed hours. Around-the-clock monitoring by Hope Hand is not included in subscription prices.
My name is Mikhail Savostin.
I am a Russian opposition politician and a former political prisoner who has been repeatedly arrested and persecuted. In 2018, when I was detained by the security services, I couldn’t inform my friends or family — my phone was taken away, and my hands were bound with wire. That was when the idea was born: to create an application that would work even if a person is in handcuffs or has no access to their phone. Hope Hand grew out of my personal experience and aims to help refugees, migrants, elderly people, women, political activists, people with disabilities, and workers in high-risk professions.

The technical implementation of the project is led by the app’s co-founder, Anton Belitskiy, and C-MES Solutions Ltd — a UK-based company specializing in the development and deployment of complex IT solutions for business and industry. This partnership brings together real human rights experience and an understanding of crisis situations, along with professional engineering expertise and technological execution. It is this combination that makes Hope Hand not just an idea, but a real, working tool to help people.

Hope Hand founder Mikhail Savostin has also created a charity meme coin under the Hope Hand name.
